CRM Event Triggers

Custom Triggers

The Custom Triggers feature allows you to configure specific triggers based on a different set of rules for the CRM. Custom Triggers can be used in the Campaigns section of the CRM. When creating a new campaign, Step 2 of the creation process allows you to select between Customer Triggers, Event Triggers and Time Triggers.

Customer Triggers Library

Clicking on the Custom Triggers link will redirect you to the Custom Triggers library. This section will display the list of already-created Custom Triggers. The information displayed includes:

  • Status

  • Name

  • Description

  • Created date

  • Created by

  • Trigger

  • Tags

Create a Custom Trigger Section

In order to create a new Custom Trigger, you must click on the Create Custom Trigger button, located on the top right section of the Custom Triggers library.

Details

In the Details section, include the descriptive details of the trigger, such as: Name, Tags (optional) and Description.

Trigger Builder

The Trigger Builder starts out with the selection of the Event Trigger. After the latter is selected, the preferred conditions will also need to be added.

When adding a condition, it is necessary to also select the Criteria.

Once the Criteria has been selected, you must select the Type Data. After selecting the Type Data, you must enter the Value.

You can add as many conditions from the available options as they want, per event. If Multiple Conditions are added, you will have AND/OR operators available to define the priority of the created conditions.

Info Tip

You can Save your current progress without having to enabkle the Custom Trigger. The Value data will vary depending on the Criteria selected.

Deleting a Custom Trigger

To Delete a Custom Trigger, look in the Library under the Options column to find a Delete button. A pop-up confirmation screen will verify the need to delete the trigger.

Custom Trigger Archive

After a trigger is deleted, it will still be available for 30 days. To access the trigger, you must click on the Archive button on the top right-hand corner of the Custom Trigger Library. Once inside the Archive section, the system will show which deleted triggers can still be restored.
