Short URL

The Short URL feature is used to create a smaller URL to be used as needed, when creating an SMS Template. This saves significant space when sending an SMS and allows the tracking its clicks for Analytics purposes.

Location

The Short URL option can be found in the CRM, under SMS Templates; the Short URL symbol will be in the Message Language Step, at the bottom of the message area.

Creating a Short URL

To create the Short URL, click on the link icon and insert the full-length URL. Then, click on the Get Short URL button. The system will create a shortened version of the inserted URL (For example: https://bit.ly/a1s2d3f4)

A preview example of the short link will appear on the right side of the screen. This preview gives the operator an idea on how the Short URL will be seen by their end user, but it is not the real short URL that will be sent out.
