Custom Triggers

Custom Triggers

The Custom Triggers feature allows you to configure specific triggers based on a different set of rules for the CRM. Custom Triggers can be used in the Campaigns section of the CRM. When creating a new campaign, Step 2 of the creation process allows you to select between Customer Triggers, Event Triggers and Time Triggers.

Customer Triggers Library

Clicking on the Custom Triggers link will redirect you to the Custom Triggers library. This section will display the list of already-created Custom Triggers. The information displayed includes:

  • Status

  • Name

  • Description

  • Created date

  • Created by

  • Options

Create a Custom Trigger Section

In order to create a new Custom Trigger, click on the Create button located on the top‑right section of the Custom Triggers library

Details

In the Details section, include the descriptive details of the trigger, such as: Name, Tags (optional) and an internal Description.

Trigger Builder

The Trigger Builder starts with the selection of the Event Trigger.

After the event is selected, the preferred conditions must be added.

When adding a condition for the Trigger Rule:

  • You must first select the Criteria.

  • Once the Criteria has been selected, you must select the Type Data (e.g., Is equal, Is greater than or equal).

  • After selecting the Type Data, you must enter the Value (e.g., 100).

You can add as many conditions from the available options as you want, per event. If Multiple Conditions are added, AND/OR operators will be available to define the priority of the created conditions. The Summary panel on the right reflects the configured event and rules.

You can Save your current progress without having to enable the customer Trigger. The Value data will vary depending on the criteria selected.

Deleting a Custom Trigger

To delete a Custom Trigger, go to the Custom Triggers library. Under the Options column, locate the three-dot menu for the desired trigger. Select Delete from the dropdown menu.

A confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to verify the deletion. Once confirmed, the trigger will be moved to the Archive section.

Recovering a Deleted Custom Trigger

After a Custom Trigger has been deleted, it remains in the Archive for 30 days before being permanently removed.

To recover a deleted trigger:

  1. Click the Archive button located in the top-right corner of the Custom Triggers library.

  2. Inside the Archive section, find the list of deleted triggers.

  3. Locate the desired trigger and select Restore under the Options column.

Once restored, the trigger will reappear in the active Custom Triggers library with its previous configuration and status.
