Player and Custom Data

In CRM there is a section called Player Data, which gathers specific pieces of information from the whole player database which can later be used to create customer segmentation, formulate user-specific communication, or create personalized campaigns. The collected data is also shown in the player profile as player tags.
Player Data collects a list of predetermined details from each player profile such as Birth Date, Language, Country, Registration Date, KYC status, etc.
Custom Data, on the other hand, will collect alternate information from the database, which can be configured by the Operator in this section.
Creating Custom Data

In order to create new Custom Data, click on the Create Custom Data button on the top-right corner. A simple pop-up window will display with the following fields to fill:
Name: Title that will appear as a tag in the player profile
Description: Description of custom data
Data Type: Choose between String, Number, Boolean, Date or Selector. The type will depend on the data that is being retrieved:

String: A direct piece of information. E.g. = City of Residence
Number: Data that involves only a numerical value. For example player's age or a phone number
Boolean: Implies Yes/No information. E.g. = Grabs Free Spins promos (Yes or No)
Date: Data collected is a date of any sorts. E.g. = Date of last marketing email sent
Selector: Data that implies making a selection from a list of choices to be determined. It could be Single selection (can choose only one) or Multiple Selection (admits multiple choices). E.g. = Favorite Game providers - Multiple Selection - Options: NetEnt - Quickspin - Microgaming - Elk Studios - Other

Player and Custom Data Library

Player Data and Custom Data tags can be viewed separately in the library. You can do a search by Name or by Data Type. Data tags with a Selector type will additionally display the Data Options. By clicking on the pencil icon to the far right, you will be able to edit the data tag.

Custom Player Data via CSV
Overview
The "Custom Player Data" feature in the CRM platform allows administrators to manage and assign custom data fields to player profiles efficiently. By leveraging the CSV upload functionality, users can bulk update player data with ease, ensuring accurate and consistent information across the platform.
Assign Data via CSV
When clicking on "Assign Data via CSV," a modal window appears, allowing users to upload a CSV file to bulk assign custom data.
Requirements:
CSV Format: The CSV file must include Player ID, Field Name, and Value columns.
Delimiter: Use a semicolon (
;) as the delimiter without spaces between columns.File Constraints: Maximum file size is 10 MB, and only
.csvfiles are supported.
Steps to Upload:
Click Browse Files to select your CSV file.
Ensure the file format is correct.
Click Review CSV Upload to proceed.
Confirm and apply the data updates.



Player Data in Player Card

When accessing a player profile, within the player card there is a Player Data option. Click on it to view the list of tags related to the player. Tags are divided into Player Data and Custom Data. You may also search for specific data by Name or Data Type.

You may edit the value of a Custom Data tag by selecting the desired option, then editing the Value and clicking on Update to refresh the data:

Assign Data via CSV
The Assign Data via CSV feature allows operators to upload and map player data efficiently using a CSV file. This is especially useful for bulk updates or assigning custom attributes to multiple players at once.

1. Upload Your CSV File
Click on Assign Data Via CSV.
Drag and drop your .csv file into the designated area, or click Browse Files to select a file from your computer.
Requirements:
File format: .csv
Maximum file size: 10 MB
Only one file can be uploaded at a time
Once uploaded, your file name will appear at the bottom of the modal. Click Review CSV Upload to proceed.
2. Map the CSV Columns

You’ll be presented with a field mapping screen that allows you to assign each CSV column to a predefined custom data field in the system.
For each column:
Select the matching Field Mapped To from the dropdown list.
The field type (e.g., Selector, Boolean, Date) will be auto-detected based on the destination field.
Preview the data under each column to ensure it aligns correctly.
If a column should not be imported, tick the Skip Column box.
A “Mapped” tag indicates the field has been successfully linked.
3. Finalize the Upload
After confirming all required columns are mapped correctly:
Click Upload Data to complete the process.
A success message will confirm once the upload is completed.
