Missions & Bundles

Welcome to Gamification: Missions & Mission Bundles

Welcome to your guide on creating engaging player experiences with the Gamanza Engage Platform. If you are new to the platform, you might be wondering why Missions and Mission Bundles are two separate features and how they work together.

This page will help you understand the workflow, giving you a clear roadmap on where to start and how to build powerful gamified campaigns.

1. Where to Start: The Workflow

The most important concept to grasp is the order of operations. Think of this process like building a Lego set:

  1. First, create your Bricks (Missions): You need individual pieces before you can build a structure. In our platform, you must create Missions first.

  2. Second, build your Castle (Mission Bundles): Once you have a library of Missions, you use Mission Bundles to group them together into a complete campaign or "Quest."

Tip: You cannot create a functional Mission Bundle without first creating the Missions that go inside it.

2. Why are they separate?

We separated these features to give you maximum flexibility and reusability.

  • Reusability: A single Mission (e.g., "Play 100 spins on Starburst") can be used in multiple different Bundles. You don't have to recreate the task every time you want to use it.

  • Granularity:

    • Missions control the "What": The specific action the player must take (e.g., Deposit €20, Win 3 times in a row).

    • Mission Bundles control the "When" and "How": The timeframe, the order of tasks, the eligibility, and the overall campaign theme.

3. Overview: How they function

Part A: Missions (The Tasks)

Missions are the individual objectives players must achieve. They are the "atoms" of your gamification strategy.

  • Objectives: Define specific actions such as Wager, Win, Deposit, Login, or Level Up. You can add detailed sub-conditions (e.g., "Wager €10 specifically on Slot Games").

  • Rewards: Assign immediate incentives for completing the task, such as Free Spins, Tokens, XP Points, or Boosters.

  • Time Limits: Set how long a player has to finish this specific task once it starts.

Part B: Mission Bundles (The Campaigns)

Mission Bundles are the containers that hold your Missions. They turn a list of tasks into a cohesive journey or campaign (e.g., "The Christmas Calendar" or "Welcome Quest").

  • Time Frames: Define the schedule for the entire campaign—Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or a custom Date Range.

  • Mission Order:

    • In This Order: Players must finish Mission A before unlocking Mission B (perfect for narrative journeys).

    • Any Order: Players can work on multiple missions simultaneously.

  • Segmentation: Decide exactly who sees this bundle—All players, specific VIP Ranks, or custom CRM Segments.

  • Easter Eggs: Surprise players with hidden rewards that trigger after they complete a certain number of missions within the bundle.
