Mission Bundles

In this section, the operator will be able to group missions in the desired manner in how they are intended to be played by customers (which order, which timeframe, which eligible players, and so on).

A Mission Bundle is a group of Missions running for a specific timeframe with a specific purpose (e.g.: a Mission Bundle for Christmas).

Mission Bundles Library

In the Library, the Operator will be able to search by Name dynamically (by any coincidences). And apply a filter by Status or Tags.

The table will contain the following columns:

  • Status: Active / Inactive

  • Name

  • Tags

  • Type: with its timeframe (e.g. Daily - July 2nd 2021)

  • Repetitions

  • Priority

  • Missions: to be displayed similarly to how Segments are previewed.

  • Eligibility

  • Actions: Edit/Duplicate/Delete

1. Mission Bundle Details

  • Internal Name: any text value (including symbols).

  • Tags: any tags may be added that describe the bundle. If the tag already exists, then it will appear in a drop down and may be selected. Tags must be previously created in the Admin Tags section. There will be a Tag category called “Gamification”.

  • Internal Description: any text value (including symbols).

  • External Name: any text value (including symbols). This option must allow multiple languages, same as in the CRM (EN, DE, FR, IT). this name will also be displayed on the sidebar widget. This is an optional field.

  • External Description: this will be an input field, for any text value up to 3,000 characters. It must allow the formatting options of bold, underline, italic, symbol bullet points, number bullet points and emojis. This option must allow multiple languages, same as in the CRM (EN, DE, FR, IT). This is an optional field.

  • Terms & Conditions: this will be an input field, for any text value up to 3,000 characters. It must allow the formatting options of bold, underline, italic, symbol bullet points, number bullet points and emojis. This option must allow multiple languages, same as in the CRM (EN, DE, FR, IT). The name will also appear on the widgets. This is an optional field.

  • Large Image: an image may be selected from the Media Database. This image can be shown in the Missions widget or any other section that the Operator may need. In the default Widgets, it is intended to be used in the desktop view of a Mission Bundle detail.

  • Small Image: an image may be selected from the Media Database. This image can be shown in the Missions widget or any other section that the Operator may need. In the default Widgets, it is intended to be used as the thumbnail of the Mission Bundle and in mobile.

2. Settings

The next step are some settings related to its defined timeframe, repetitions and priority.

2.1. Time Frame

The Time frame determines the running time or duration of the Mission Bundle, where the players’ activity can contribute towards the Missions inside this Bundle. Once a particular Bundle expires, any activity performed outside this timeframe, will no longer contribute to that Bundle.

There are 5 different types that the Operator can choose from. Only one may be selected per Mission Bundle. But there may be multiple Bundles of the same type.

  • Daily: this type means that the Bundle will be valid only for one particular day. The Operator will be given an option to choose one day from a calendar. This gives a chance to the Operator to offer Daily Missions. The Operator can also set the start date as “today,” allowing Daily Bundles to begin immediately on the day they are created.

  • Weekly: this type means that the Bundle will be valid only for 7 days. It does not need to be Mon-Sun; the Operator will have the freedom to choose any 7-day range from the calendar. This gives a chance to the Operator to offer Weekly Missions.

  • Monthly: this type means that the Bundle will be valid for one entire calendar month. The Operator will be given an option to choose a particular Month (including year) from the calendar. This gives a chance to the Operator to offer Monthly Missions.

  • Lifetime: this type means that the Bundle will be valid forever, non-stop, until the Operator decides to disable it.

    • Validity Time: when choosing this Type, the Operator will have the option to choose a validity time (Period only, similar to the Validity Time in the Missions). The purpose of this is to put a deadline to how long does the player have to complete this Lifetime Bundle, once it has been started.

  • Date Range: this type means that the Bundle will be valid during a specific date range and time, defined by the Operator. The Operator will be given an option to choose a Start Date and End Date from the calendar, including timestamp (hours and minutes). This includes the possibility of setting the Start Date as “today,” making the Bundle available right away.

Considerations

When different Types of Mission Bundles are active at the same time for a particular player, all activity performed by the player during that time frame will contribute towards all those Mission Bundles.

Examples:

If there are two active Mission Bundles:

Mission Bundle 1

Type

Daily: June 30th

Missions Order

In This Order

Missions

Mission 1-A

  • Objective: Wager 100x in Starburst

  • Reward: 5 Free Spins

Mission 1-B

  • Objective: Wager 75x in any game

  • Reward: 5 Free Spins

Mission Bundle 2

Type

Weekly: June 28th until July 4th

Missions Order

In This Order

Missions

Mission 2-A

  • Objective: Wager 200x in Starburst

  • Reward: 10 Free Spins

Mission 2-B

  • Objective: Make 2 deposits

  • Reward: 50 Points for Virtual Currency

If a player logs in for the first time on June 30th, he is eligible to participate in two Mission Bundles: a Daily Mission Bundle 1 and a Weekly Mission Bundle 2.

If the player makes 100 Wagers in Starburst, this means that the player will complete the 1st Mission (Mission 1-A from Daily Mission Bundle 1) and get a reward of 5 Free Spins. While at the same time, those same 100 Wagers will contribute towards the progress of the Mission 2-A from Weekly Mission Bundle 2 (Mission 2-A: 50% progress: 100 of 200 Wagers).

On the other hand, those 100 Wagers do not contribute towards the progress of the 2nd Daily Mission (Mission 1-B), because the Mission Order specifies that the first mission needs to be completed, before moving to the next mission. [Missions Order definition in the next section Missions]

2.2. Priority

The priority defines the order of the bundles within the same type (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Lifetime).

If there are two Mission Bundles from the Type “Daily” for the same date, this Priority will determine which Bundle is applied first.

Based on the Type and Priority configuration, a player may only have one Bundle from one specific type active at the same time.

The priority field may be saved empty, to give a chance to the Operator to arrange Bundles in the desired order. However, any Bundle with an empty Priority field will not be allowed to be Enabled.

The same priority may not be reused in more than one Bundle of the same type.

3. Missions

Here the operator will be able to add all the missions that should be part of this bundle. The same mission can be reused in different bundles.

Note: a maximum of 50 Missions can be added within each Mission Bundle.

Missions can be moved by the operator if needed (drag and drop feature).

3.1. Missions Order

There will be an option to decide the order on how the missions inside the bundle must be played:

  • In This Order: if this is selected, it means that the player must complete the missions in the defined order before continuing to the next one. Example: the player needs to complete the first mission, before starting with the second mission, and so on. While the player is on the first mission, any activity performed during this timeframe will only contribute towards any potential objectives inside this first mission. This activity will not have an impact or contribution on any subsequent missions.

  • Any Order: if this is selected, then missions can be completed in any order. In other words, any activity performed while this bundle is active, will contribute towards all missions. This setting has the opposite effect of “In This Order”. Example: if the player makes 1 deposit and makes 500 Wagers, this activity will contribute simultaneously towards any mission inside this bundle that includes the Deposit and Wager objectives.

4. Easter Eggs

The Easter Egg feature allows you to surprise players with hidden rewards that become claimable after completing certain missions within a bundle. Follow these steps to configure Easter Eggs in your Mission Bundle.

4.1. Steps to Add Easter Eggs

    7. Tokens

    8. XP Points

  7. Finalize Configuration

    1. Once all settings are defined, click Next Step to proceed to the next part of the Mission Bundle creation process.

    2. Review the Summary panel on the right-hand side for an overview of your configuration.

5. Eligibility

In this step, the operator will have the following options to determine who is eligible to participate into this mission bundle:

  • All Players.

  • Ranks: this option will allow to choose from the different available Ranks (multi select).

  • Segment: this option allows to select a more advanced segment created in the CRM, with any predefined criteria.

Note: when a Bundle is active for a player that is part of a segment or custom segment, even if the player stops meeting the criteria of the segment, the player should be able to finish that Bundle.

End Ongoing Mission Bundles

This new feature allows Operators to end ongoing Mission Bundles in the Player Card and in the Mission Bundles page.
