Opt-Out Feature
Opt-Out Functionality
The purpose of this feature is to allow players to opt out of Gamification mechanics, effectively deactivating all features related to Gamification. This will be allowed to be done by the player from within the profile settings when logged into the account, or manually by the support team from the back office, in the player card.
All players will have the option to opt out at any time from within their profile, immediately stopping all counters and progress, however not completely removing them, as this option can be reversed at any time and all features reactivated.
While opted out, no Tokens or XP Points will be accumulated, however, you as the Operator can choose whether all counters will remain at the numbers they had when the opt out was selected and resume counting when or if the Gamification mechanics are reactivated, or whether all points and progress will be lost upon deactivation and players will need to start from zero when reactivating the mechanics.
Opt-Out and Opt-in Button in Player’s Settings
In the Casino, a Gamification Opt-Out button can be configured by you to appear in every player’s profile settings, possibly within the Responsible Gaming section, Limits, main Account settings, or any other section you deem fit. This will be at your discretion. The button will include a title, description, a button and a confirmation pop-up warning the player if they want to continue.

Example of a button to be available from the top menu with the following information:

Clicking the Exit or Opt Out button will trigger a confirmation pop-up warning them of the features that will get deactivated and a button to confirm opt out:

*Note: You will be able to create and edit the content on these buttons at any time.
Opting back in
Players will or will not be able to opt-in again on their own based on your preference. In this example, the player will be able to reactivate the Gamification mechanics from the Opt in / Opt Out menu option by clicking on the following button:

Clicking this option will display a confirmation pop-up such as this one:

For those players who will not be allowed to opt-in again on their own, the reactivation will need to be done manually in the back office.
Opt-Out and Opt-In from Player Card
From the player card, there will be a section where the customer support team can manually opt a player out of Gamification mechanics, and there will also be an option to reactivate the mechanics. Upon opting out a player, a pop-up window will display to confirm deactivation.

A Gamification Features text bubble will display in the player card showing if the player is opted out of Gamification displaying as Inactive. Also, if Gamification mechanics are currently active, a text status will display showing as status Active.

When the account has deactivated Gamification, the profile will still display the XP Points, Tokens and Levels reached until the moment the player opted out, unless you have configured the Gamification settings for players to lose all their progress upon deactivation.
When reactivating a player, a pop-up window will also show up to confirm opt-in:

All options to add or remove Tokens and XP Points will be greyed out / deactivated from the player card during the whole opt-out period. All counters will remain frozen from the time the mechanics were deactivated.
Counter Reset Setting
You can choose if the player will be able to reactivate the Gamification mechanics and restore their accumulated XP points and Tokens, as well as Level progress, within Gamification reactivation (Keep progress after opt-out), OR if after opt-out, all counters will reset and the player will have to start from zero if they opt back in (Reset all counters after opt-out). Gamanza will configure this option on your behalf on first release (you will be able to configure these settings on your end on a later release).
Widget Display
Upon the Gamification mechanics being disabled by the player, the player widget will change to display as being inactive. To accomplish this, the widget will display information as follows:
Progress Bar shows in 0 (no progress display)
All XP Point, Token and Level count showing as --
Player avatar will switch to a generic default

Reward Shop
In order to deactivate the Reward Shop when the player has opted out, when clicking the Reward Shop link, the screen will display a 404 message letting the player know the page is unavailable with a brief description, configured by you (PAMS can also disable the Reward Shop link altogether).
Example message: “Page not available because you opted out of the Loyalty Program. Please contact customer support for more information.”
Opt-out Feedback Pop-up
When clicking the Opt-Out button in the player’s Account settings, they will be presented with a confirmation pop-up asking to enter the opt-out reason, with a list of options to choose from and a last option ('Other') to manually enter a reason. The pop-up should also include a warning message to inform the player of the features that will get deactivated and a check box to confirm.
The players can only select one of the options, and the Confirmation check box is required.
Opt-Out Feedback pop-up from Player Card
From the player card, when opting out a player, a pop-up window will display with a text field to enter the reason for opt-out and a button to confirm deactivation.
