Ranks & Levels
Ranks and Levels
Ranks are categories created and set up by the Operator to classify customers based on their level, which is linked to their accumulated betting activity on the site.
Ranks allow you to include your user base in a loyalty system. In the Gamification back office you will be able to configure with full flexibility how your customers will earn and collect Experience Points (XP Points) to progress through a series of Levels until achieving a new Rank within the loyalty system, enabling new benefits on the site.
You will also be able to configure how your customers will accumulate Tokens while progressing through the ranking system, which allows them to purchase items at the Reward Shop.
Each Rank will have a different set of requirements to be completed to rank up and move forward to the next Rank. In order to progress, the customer will need to move up a series of Levels, each set with a number of XP Points required to complete it and move on to the next Level. Both the number of Levels and XP Points required to move forth can be configured by you in the backend.
There are multiple features that will be used by the ranking system, mainly the Player Category, Virtual Currency, and the Reward Shop.
Ranks and Levels Terminology
Rank: Categories given to all players based on a series of conditions established by the Operator where each user is classified, and their activity on the site allows them to accumulate XP Points and rise through levels to unlock the next Rank up the scale. Example: Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.
Levels: Each Rank consists of a series of Levels (determined by the Operator) that the user must move through in order to upgrade to a new Rank and unlock new benefits on the site. Each Level requires the customer to accumulate enough activity XP Points to pass it.
Experience Points (XP): These are points accumulated by the customer as they engage with the site. The more active the user is, the more XP Points he or she accumulates toward progressing through Levels. XP Point contribution requirements are configured by the Operator in the backend.
Level/Rank Rewards: Prizes given to the customer when rising to a new Level, or when unlocking a new Rank. Level and Rank rewards are optional, and can be configured by the Operator in the backend.
Basic Ranking Structure
The ranking system is structured as follows:
Rank: This is the main classifying structure. By navigating to the Ranks section in Gamification, you will be able to create Ranks, assign Levels to each Rank, assign the XP Points requirements to complete each level, and if you want to give a reward for completing a Level or a Rank, the option to assign a reward can also be configured from this section. Once the player completes all the levels in one rank then they Rank up and move on to the next set of levels.

Levels: Level sequences are independent of the Rank. There won’t be two levels with the same name. Example: Rank Member (initial) = Level 1, Rank Bronze = Levels 2-10, Rank Silver = Levels 11-20, Rank Gold = Levels 21-30; their playthrough requirement will be defined as accumulated Experience Points (XP Points). These XP Points requirements are configured within each level. Example: In order to upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2 in the user's current Rank 'Bronze', he or she will need to accumulate 2001 XP Points, as shown in the picture below:

Ranking and Level Changes / Deletion
Once the Ranks have been created and the users have begun accumulating XP Points, it will only be possible to do a “soft delete” for the Ranks and Levels. This means that a Rank or a Level may be disabled but not deleted from the database altogether, in relation to the customer. This is for the data to still be available for reports if needed.
If there is a Rank that has been “disabled”, since the data about current XP Points is still stored, the Rank count and Level count numbers will remain unphased.
When a Rank or Level gets deactivated or deleted, you will have to choose between an upgrade or a downgrade for the user. If you choose a downgrade, the player will keep the XP Points balance intact and will be moved to the previous Level/Rank that is closer. If you choose an upgrade, the XP Points needed to be on the next closest Level or Rank will be manually credited. In both scenarios, the user will be able to claim the newly assigned Level or Rank rewards when he or she completes it. See the example below for an Upgrade scenario:

Ranks Library

The Ranks library will display the list of ranks created by you. On the top left side of the library, you will be able to search for a Rank by Name, Rank Status (Active, Inactive) or Tag.
The library will display a table with the following columns:
Status: This is the Rank status enabled or disabled (Active / Inactive)
Rank Name: Displays the internal name for the Rank.
Levels: This will display the number of Levels for that particular Rank
Rewards: This section will display whether any Level Rewards or Rank Rewards have been configured for that Rank. By clicking on the corresponding bubble, you will get a view of the prizes currently configured based on each player category (which will need to have been pre-defined), as shown below:

Tags: Displays the related Admin tags to the created Rank
Options (three dots): Edit option to edit the Rank details.

Creating a Rank

The Create Rank button can be found on the top right corner of the Rank Library. Keep in mind all fields will be required (except Tags) and if not chosen the creation process cannot be completed.
Step 1: Rank Details -
On this step you will enter the Rank name (for internal use) which will be a text input field, select a Tag for the Rank (this will be optional) and enter the Rank description in the text box. Additionally, there is the External Rank Name, and an External Rank Description which include a multi-language option to allow you to include the name of the Rank in different languages if so desired (both are optional). The External Rank Name and the External Rank Description will be visible in the platform's frontend. The language created will have a “delete” button which will remove the created language when clicked.
These languages work as a CMS and will be shared to the Website Frontend through our integration.

Step 2: Level Details -
Here you will create Levels for the Rank. You must at least register one Level.
Step 2.1 – Level requirements: There will be an “Add level” button to create the level. It will remain to allow you to create as many Levels as desired. When clicked on, you will need to type in the range of XP Points which qualifies the player for that specific level. For example, >= 0 XP <= 100, >= 101 <= 200 so on and so forth. The system will display a “greater than, equal to” symbol for the initial value and a less than symbol for the ending value and will automatically adjust the levels based on their XP bracket.

Step 2.2 – Level Reward: Levels can be created without attaching a reward. Adding Level rewards is optional, and player categories must have been pre-defined prior to creating these rewards. The system will display the available player categories. Each category will have an Add Reward button where you can add one or more of the following available rewards:

Bonus Offer: Players can receive a special bonus as a reward. This could be anything from additional game content, exclusive deals, or other perks that incentivize progression.
Level Booster: This reward type gives players a boost in their level progression. It can help them advance more quickly through the game’s rank system, allowing them to reach higher levels with fewer XP points required.
Mission Booster: This option provides a reward that enhances the player’s performance in missions, making it easier to complete in-game tasks or challenges. It can help players gain XP or in-game currency faster during specific missions.
Token Booster: Players receive a booster for tokens, which increases the number of tokens they can earn or utilize. This can help players accumulate more tokens faster and use them in various in-game features like purchasing items.
Tokens: The player receives a set number of tokens as a reward. Tokens are often used as a form of currency within the game, allowing players to purchase items, upgrades, or other in-game content.
XP Points: This reward option grants additional Experience Points (XP) to the player. XP is typically used to track player progress and unlock new levels, abilities, or content. Rewarding XP helps players advance through levels more quickly.
External Reward: This reward type allows Operators to grant real-life prizes outside the platform, such as raffle tickets, event passes, exclusive merchandise, or high-value items. External Rewards connect in-game achievements with tangible experiences, giving players meaningful recognition beyond digital rewards and enhancing overall engagement.
When adding the Booster, there will be an additional configuration for “Activation”. If it is “Automatic”, this means that as soon as the Booster is granted, it is activated as soon as the level is completed. If it is “By Player”, this means that the player needs to activate in the Casino Frontend (from “My Bonuses” section) or from My Boosters section within the widget.
There will be an input to define the Booster Rate (how fast) and the time frame (for how long). The booster rate should allow one decimal, with values greater than 1. Values smaller than 1 will not be accepted, because this would imply to go slower.
Next to each Reward option is a Description option to allow you to write an External description for each reward in multiple languages, same as in the CRM (EN, DE, FR, IT). This information could be shown in the Operator's frontend when the user wins the reward, or it can be used as a placeholder on CRM templates. This is an optional field.

Step 3: Rank Reward

The Rank Rewards section allows you to assign rewards that players will receive for completing an entire rank. These rewards are optional and can be customized to provide incentives for progressing through the rank. Here's a breakdown of the key elements in this section:
Reward Type:
This dropdown menu allows you to choose the type of reward that players will receive upon completing the rank. In the screenshot, the selected reward type is Token Booster.
Other potential reward types might include bonus offers, level boosters, mission boosters, tokens, XP points,, and External Rewards, depending on how your gamification system is set up.
Booster Rate:
If the selected reward is a booster (such as a Token Booster), you can set the Booster Rate. In the example provided, the booster rate is set to 2, meaning that for a limited time, players will earn twice as many tokens as usual.
Time Frame:
You can specify the Time Frame for which the booster will be active. In the screenshot, the booster will be active for 5 minutes. This ensures that the reward is time-bound, creating a sense of urgency and encouraging immediate engagement.
Activation:
There are two options for how the reward is activated:
Automatic: The reward will be triggered automatically once the player completes the rank.
By Player: The player can manually activate the reward at a time of their choosing, giving them flexibility in when they want to benefit from the booster.
Adding and Removing Rewards:
You can add multiple rewards for completing the rank by clicking the Add Reward button. If needed, you can also remove any reward using the Remove Rewards button.

Step 4: Status -
Finally, you are presented with the option to determine whether the status of the Rank will be Active or Inactive:

Ranks Archive

Within the Ranks Library, on the top right corner you will see the option to access the Archive. The Archive will allow you to visualize previously created Ranks that have been soft-deleted, and you will have the option to recover the Rank. Once recovered, the Rank will show up in the Ranks Library on the general Ranks list.

Rank Details in Player Card

The user's Ranking information will be displayed in the player card. Inside, the following information will be displayed:
