  • Initial State: A player in Gold Rank with 22,000 XP and 500 Tokens.

Please remember this: that upon closing a comparative period and beginning a new one, all XP Points are reset back to 0 and Levels back to Level 1 to start from scratch for a new comparative period. The Rank remains the same unless a downgrade occurs. This applies only when choosing the Accumulated XP Points downgrade method.

✅ Scenario 1 – Accumulated XP Points

  • Method: Exact XP Points Accumulated

  • Comparison: Bi-Monthly

  • Downgrade Rule: Earned XP Points Method

  • Token Loss: 30%

The player earned 22,000 XP in the JAN-FEB period. In mar-APR started with 0 XP and they only reached 18,500 XP, which is below their previous performance.

Because the method compares the exact XP from the last period, and the Earned XP Points Method is used, the player in may-jun will be downgraded to the Rank that matches their new XPSilver and the XPs will be reseted to 0.

Also, they lose 30% of their Tokens (500 → 350).

Scenario 2 (Quarterly, Minimum XP Points from Rank, Previous Rank Method, No Token Loss):

  • Initial State: A player in Platinum Rank with 32,500 XP and 1,000 Tokens.

  • Final State: After a quarterly comparison using the minimum XP points from the Rank method, the player falls below the criteria to maintain Platinum, causing them to be downgraded to Gold, but their Tokens remain the same.

✅ Scenario 2 – Accumulated XP Points

  • Method: Minimum XP Points from Rank

  • Comparison: Quarterly

  • Downgrade Rule: Previous Rank Method

  • Token Loss: No

The player finished the period q1 as Platinum with 32,500 XP. In q2 they were reset to 0 and only accumulated 27,500 XP, which is below the minimum threshold for Platinum (30,001 XP).

Because the comparison is based on minimum XP required to maintain a Rank, and the Previous Rank Method is used, the player drops one Rank down to Gold in q3 with 0 XPs

Tokens are not affected.

Scenario 3 (Yearly, Minimum XP Points from Rank, Previous Rank Method, No Token Loss):

  • Initial State: A player in Gold Rank with 22,000 XP and 300 Tokens.

  • Final State: After a yearly comparison, the player doesn’t meet the minimum required XP points to stay in Gold, leading to a downgrade to Silver, but Tokens remain the same.

✅ Scenario 3 – Accumulated XP Points

  • Method: Minimum XP Points from Rank

  • Comparison: Yearly

  • Downgrade Rule: Previous Rank Method

  • Token Loss: No

The player finalized year 1 with Gold Rank after earning 22,000 XP in the previous year . In the current year year 2 , the XPs were reseted to zero and levels to 1, and the player only managed 18,000 XP, which is below the 20,001 XP required to stay in Gold.

Based on the Minimum XP Points from Rank rule and Previous Rank Method, the player for year 3 will be downgraded to Silver.

No Tokens are removed.
